Each year SOAR celebrates the spirit of the community by hosting numerous events to create mental health awareness and support the transformative initiatives happening in our communities. Come together to help us raise funds for mental health grants and spread awareness of the mental health needs of Minnesota communities.
Fundraising Events in 2026

Never Walk Alone | Saturday October 10th, 2026 | 9am | TCO Viking Lakes | Eagan, MN
Join us on October 10th for Never Walk Alone, an all-ages, all-abilities, and pet-friendly* community walk benefiting SOAR and supporting mental health programs in Minnesota schools. Together, we will create a powerful Sea of Green as participants, families, friends, and furry companions wear green in support of mental health awareness and walk side-by-side to show that no one facing mental health challenges should ever feel alone. The event will take place at the beautiful Viking Lakes campus, where participants will enjoy a 1 mile paved walk around the Viking Lakes trail before finishing on the TCO Stadium practice field. Whether you walk, roll, stroll, or cheer from the sidelines, everyone is welcome. Funds raised through Never Walk Alone will support SOAR's mission by providing grants to Minnesota schools that strengthen and expand student mental health programs and resources. This inspiring community event will feature:
*Please note that while dogs are welcome, they must remain leashed and be well behaved. They cannot be on the TCO stadium field, but will have a designated space near the field entrance. Dogs are allowed to walk the paved loop. |

Grab your hats, gather your friends, and join us on Sunday May 23rd at 11am for an unforgettable Kentucky Derby-inspired fundraiser at Boardwalk Kitchen & Bar Event Center celebrating community, connection, and impact. This all-ages event brings together the charm and excitement of Derby Day with a lively afternoon of great food, signature cocktails, entertainment, and giving back. Guests are encouraged to arrive in their Kentucky Derby best — from bold hats and bow ties to bright Summer fashion — and enjoy a festive experience featuring delicious food, drinks, outdoor patio vibes, and exciting entertainment throughout the day.
